  • Peter Loose

Peter Loose - (New Art Car)

Experience Peter's artistic journey from the very start as he creates a new art car at FoxSaid Fest.

A lifelong nature-lover, Peter took a job as a naturalist for the Sandy Creek Nature Center in Athens, GA in the mid-1980s. It was here – as he began leading children’s workshops and decorating his new workspace – that his love for nature would find an artistic outlet in painting.

The natural world provides a constant source of creative inspiration for Peter, whose range of work includes one-of-a-kind birdhouses and animal-shaped dulcimers, as well as bright and happy paintings of animals, created in his signature dot-punctuated style.

Peter’s work can be found in the permanent collection of Savannah Georgia’s Telfair Art Museum and in Baltimore’s American Visionary Art Museum.
